Haliburton Highlands Water Trails

Located in the Haliburton Highlands, the Leslie M. Frost Natural Resource Centre was established by MNR in 1974 as a resource management education centre. Its primary goal is to foster a wider public understanding and appreciation of Ontario's natural resources, their management and use. A plan for the Frost Centre was approved in 1980.

Access Points
- End of Sherborne Lake Road
- Off of Highway 35 between Dorset and Carnarvon.
- Generally doesn't open until on, or after, the Victoria Day long weekend in May.
- Campsite are located along the road, and at the access point at the end of the road.
- Please respect the area and keep it clean, there's already far too much garbage in the area.
- Big Hawk Marina at Big Hawk Landing on Big Hawk Lake
- Located on Highway 35 about 13.5km outside of Carnarvon, ON
- Free parking (last time I checked) along the road to the marina.
- Canoe and equipment rentals at the marina.
