Located in the Haliburton Highlands, the Leslie M. Frost Natural Resource Centre was established by MNR in 1974 as a resource management education centre. Its primary goal is to foster a wider public understanding and appreciation of Ontario's natural resources, their management and use. A plan for the Frost Centre was approved in 1980.
