Moon River

The Moon River Conservation Reserve is a 450 hectare area of Crown land, located in southern Freeman Ward in the Area Municipality of Georgian Bay, in the District Municipality of Muskoka. The site is approximately 7 kilometres south-west of the hamlet of Mactier. The site follows and includes part of the Moon River and is located, at its closest point, about ½ kilometre west of Highway 69. The north-western boundary of this conservation reserve abuts the proposed Lower Moon River Conservation Reserve.
